Mining actions of Peru: the more can they climb?

The actions of the Peruvian mining signatures they have repuntado the year 2009 thanks to the fact that the investors bet on a supported advance of the prices of the metals.

The Volcano roles, those of major weight in the general index of the bag of Lima, have raised more than 250 % from January, 2009. The qualifications of other important mine-layers - like Southern Copper, Good luck, Milpo, Atacocha, Green Hill and Minsur - have gained in average 74 %.

Nevertheless, these actions are still very far of the prices that reached the year 2008, before the deep world economic bassoon was eroding his sales and the prices of the metals.

Some investors think that this is the moment to buy, but others that they turned out to be affected by the collapse of 2008 are not sure that the Peruvian mining roles could extend his climb.

The question is: Is there yet margin to rise more or the advance really ended?

Edwin Paz, of the brokerage Provalor in Lima, said that the mining actions of Peru are subvalued and that his essentials, together with the robust Chinese demand and the best world perspectives, will help to impel his prices in what it remains of the year 2009.
