18. Assets of the exemption

All exemption needs to define its own philosophy, this is, a few ideas and a few values that are or turn in beginning, as a series of commitments and responsibilities, these have to be shared by all the franquiciados. The structure of this organization, which is completely decentralized and composed of autonomous companies with self-interest, advises to optimize the different factors that characterize the managerial structure of the exemption. His access must be difficult, in such a way that, excepting the persons who belong to the network, one does not know, by it the bible remains gathered in a so called operative manual popularly. The advantages of having a good manual sound:

– It allows to know the grade of knowledge of the company.

– It allows to identify all the tasks that are done in the business unit and he has to decide the best way from how one must come in every task.

– It allows to support the homogeneity along the chain.

– His fulfillment helps to do mark.

– It allows to demand from the franquiciado how it must do the things.

– He avoids to have to correct repeatedly the same errors for having trained badly.

– It reduces the training cost for franquiciado.

Thus it is possible to verify if the products or services that are offered satisfy real and legitimate needs of our objective public and if they manage to be competitive and profitable. With it it becomes possible to minimize the risk of his future business, offering him a major safety. These pilot establishments do not have why to be a property of the franquiciador, they it can be also of the franquiciados that, in exchange for the biggest risk that they assume, they obtain more profitable conditions. Also, not only they must be implanted in the previous phase and of beginning of the exemption, but during the existence of the same one, in such a way that we could incorporate of experimental form new products or services, modernize the procedures systems, improve the formation, design new campaigns of marketing and communication... The advisable minimal number of pilot shops is three: one in a shopping street of the center of the city, another shop located in a shopping center and a third point of sale in a popular but very commercial quarter.
  • Legal regulation of the exemption.
