On the other hand, to the climb of prices of the gold also they have contributed the difficulties for which the South African producers cross before the electrical blackouts that have paralyzed the development of some mines.
In particular, the mine-layer AngloGold Ashanti reported that it has begun the production again in one of his seven developments, while other golden producers of the country still continue without being able to resume the metal extraction of his mines.
The South African mines represent about 10 % of the world production of gold and close to 80 % of that of platinum, which price also marked today a new record on having quoted to 1.735 dollars for ounce.
