When we are in the phase named «slope« or at the end of that of «ripeness«, we turn out to be forced to take an alternative to go out forward of this critical period of stabilization and stagnation. It is necessary to analyze if it is more suitable to leave the product or to throw it again with a series of modifications. Once we have chosen for the last one, so called «politics of extension of life of the product», we will promote then the sales of the same one for different ways that will be marked by the person in charge of the department of marketing, under the pretext of example we will indicate the following ones:

• Encouraging a more frequent use between the current consumers or users of the product.
• Developing a more diverse use between the current consumers or users of the product.
• Creating new uses for the material or commodity.

The extension of the life of a product following the rules that we have just mentioned is observed in most of sectors and products, so much industrialists as in the sector I consume, Homely in feeding or in some services (banking, insurances, games...). Be observed how the banking is using new uses, new forms of his service, and how it is trying to create new consumers of the same one. Several are his advantages, the life cycle of the product, between that the following ones stand out:

• He drives to an active politics of the product, instead of following the skill of reacting when the product is already in full slope. This way he forces the persons in charge of the same one to think, in advance, the possible measurements to extend his life.
• It has to establish a long-term plan in forecast. It will anticipate the measurements that they go to adopt as soon as the first slope symptoms appear.
• Perhaps, the Home advantage takes root in that it forces the persons in charge of the product to have a wider and deep knowledge of the nature and possible uses and applications of the same one.
