Peru exported 12,4 % of gold more than one year ago

The Peruvian exports of gold added 1.992 million dollars in the first four-month period of 2009, what supposes an increase of 10 % with regard to the same period of the previous year, he informed the department of Energy and Mines.

These numbers are equivalent to 2.200.500 golden ounces that 12,4 % commercialized in the exterior of Peru more than in equal period of 2008.

The golden exports in the first four-month period of 2009 have been led by the mine-layer Yanacocha increasing of the US$ 556 millions to more US$ 631 millions, with a change of almost 14 %.
