Peru - golden Production in October, 2009 falls down 3,98 %

The golden production of Peru in October, 2009 totalized 15.084 kilograms, a regression of 3,98 % opposite to the same month of the previous year 2008.

The result owed principally to falls in the production of Mining Company Plow in 36 % and in Barrick Misquichilca in 20 % compared to October, 2008.

The increase of the golden production is outstanding on the part of Gold Fields Top in 77 %, Chancadora Centauro in 51 % and Arasi in 49 % compared with his similar production of the previous year.

The principal markets of destination of the Peruvian gold were Switzerland, Canada and the United States, which as a whole 97,1 % represents.
